Sanitizing objects from outdoors

I've got a deer antler that was found outside in a forest, seems like it was there for a while because the bottom has basically turned green from sitting on moss. I've normally been pretty picky on what I put in tarantula enclosures so I haven't needed to sanitize objects before but I'd like to maybe utilize this in an P. murinus enclosure but I'm not too sure how to safely sanitize it. I suppose boiling water would be a good start?

I'm open to suggestions.

Usually if I find a nice piece outside I end up soaking it in some sort of alcohol and begin scrubbing it down and making sure everything was touched by the brush. Then as @DomGom TheFather said "boil it".

Dom is pretty much dead on. But you can't sterilize porous material unless you pressure cook it. a 10% bleach dip is cheaper than the Peroxide dip. And if you are dipping it in alcohol, then for all that is holy make it methanol. Don't you dare use the precious spirits that can be imbibed.
