Sanitizing non tarantula used enclosure?

Hello all!

quick question - Im upgrading my isopod terrarium and want to rehouse one of my tarantulas into the one the isopods are in (glass enclosure). wanted to see how and if I should go about sanitizing since they are different animals all together. Thanks!!!

I just do a normal wash. Dawn dish soap and hot water scrub a dub dub and rinse. And wipe dry. That’s how I do it and it’s fine. Never had issues.

Nothing much ever needs to actually be sterilized....just rinse it, dry it and set it up for your t.

Dawn and hot water, but if you really wanna get crazy you can use a chlorhexidine/water solution. I always have some around because I keep reptiles too, but it's probably overkill.

Matter of fact, I use diluted Chlorhex for my snake enclosures. For the tarantulas I just wash with Dawn and hot water as well

Soap and water lol.

I only use diluted bleach solution when I see mushrooms and mold. I live in Washington, so spores and such are unavoidable with everything covered in moss, mold, or mushrooms.
