If you want an agent that will destroy harmful organisms and is 100% safe, H2O2. BUT, it only 'cleans what it touches in it's concentrated active state', The moment it goes to work as a biocide it turns into water. Obviously it's useless except as a topical, surface cleaner as it rapidly degrades. So unstable exposure to air or bright light eventually turns the stuff into water.
And in concentrated forms, above 10%, it is corrosive, an oxidizer. So don't get concentrations on yourself or your animals, Whoops, I lost my fingerprints is a common lament in school labs with untutored students not employing the safety protocols and being careless with 50%. :wacky:

Apologies for off topic, it was hilarious when I went to get my drivers license. Decades of self abuse and nasty chemicals. They had me resubmit prints from all 10 fingers to find one intact print, my left hand ring finger.

I scrub all poo away with Dawn if I'm doing a full cleaning. Never had an issue with it!

If its an empty viv, hot water , lemon or white vinegar, and bicarb, scrub scrub scrub 😊. I also have a plastic ceramic hob top scraper that I use to remove splats , between these it's more then enough to clean any empty viv .
If the t is in the viv, cup over the t/block the hide/retreat then use my scraper, kitchen roll in my tongs water n wipe 🤷🏻‍♀️

I know of some ppl that will use chemical cleaners to clean empty vivs. I was led to believe as long as you thoroughly rinse it you can use whatever you like but I don't trust it n stick to natural cleaners just incase.

Dawn is great for melting fleas for this reason I don't trust it for t stuff, if it can kill fleas/tics n their eggs then I hate to think what it could do to a spider/t.
