i picked up a alternans at the CRBE today. its about 5-6" long, any tips on what to house it in? care would be appreciated too.. i know a bit but have a few questions: how long till i should try feeding? should i wait till i put it in its new cage before trying anything? the cage its in looks ok size but the lid is crappy, it snaps open and disturbs the pede.

was 40 CD a good price?

do this guys like it really humid?

any pics of your setup(s) would be appreciated.

Keep them warm and moist. They like very humid conditions for any setup. The price you paid is about average. Great pedes!

Oh you joined the centipedes army that's great

I would offer a piece of cork bark (if you didn't I mean) my S.subspinipes loves that, is always near/above, or disappearing down under where he/she made a nice burrow.
