Rustic Wolf Spider attacks another wolf spider/VIDEO/

I caught this Rustic Wolf Spider yesterday. Today I tried feeding her another wolf spider but all she did was attack it. She never ate it afterwards either?

Might be the same species just different phases/color morphs.

That is the same behavior I typically see from same species attacks, it gets all the way up to biting then lets go. Spiders from my experience really do not like to eat their own species.

Strange... When I catch rustic wolf spiders they are very cannibalistic.

You would need to elaborate on that. Same sac but no food offered, different wild caught spiders, male female, male male... The scenario changes the behavior. In normal conditions, most spiders are only cannibalistic when they are hungry and feel they need the meal. When they are well fed, all spiders have a tendency to not eat their own kind. I usually only see partial eating, like draining the abdomen of its fluid and that's it.
