I've been culturing Rice Flour Beetles (Tribolium confusum) for a couple of years now. I finally posted a "Quick Guide" video on them. : ) They are a great occasional food for my mourning geckos, young crested geckos, and fish.
Do any of you use them? If so, what do you feed them to?

I've used them as feeders for dart frogs before I realized I was mildly allergic to them. At the end, I'd end up sneezing an entire day and having puffy red eyes if I didn't take a shower after using them as feeders. Sifting them out is also best done outside with a mask on so you don't breathe in tiny pieces of exoskeleton as that can be a severe allergen for some. They're really easy to culture, but more difficult to collect and feed out than fruit flies. They also weren't as interesting a prey item to arboreal dart frog species that tended not to come down to a food dish to eat.

Curiosity makes me ask if small slings would eat these? Always looking for variety for my smallest arachnids.

That is a good point , and one reason why it is good to subculture every few months...apparently, older cultures are worse sources of allergens.

I'm wondering about whether tarantula slings would eat them or not as well. I don't keep Ts myself, but these larvae are much like smaller, softer mealworms, so it makes sense that they could work...anyone tried it?

Think I may give it a try, I have a couple tiny slings. (Aphonopelma hentzi) My slow growers :p It's worth a shot and if they don't care for them I'm betting our chickens will gobble them up. Beats giving them cricket drumsticks.

Edit) posted this question at Josh frogs, I'll update if I get a reply.
