Rhino beetle with deformed elytra

I have a rhino beetle that eclosed and his elytra are deformed, is there any chance that he will live, and if he can will he be able to mate?

I had this happen once and he unfortunately passed away pretty quickly. If it survives though, he should have no problem eating and mating. Hopefully yours will pull through! I'm very curious to see it so pics would be appreciated.

Should I keep him dryer so he doesn't get moldy?
