My O sp Silver just molted. There's no way I could retrieve a molt from her because she's chewing on it lol. I think its a she. He/she is right around 2" I waited for some time to finally see the silver coloration, and I'm not dissapointed.
That steely blue overcoat with that fluorescent orange undercarriage just gets me every time!!! 😍😍😍

I have one of these but never seen it. Pet hole. Bought as like a 3/4" sling. I assume it's molted once or twice since then. No clue lol

H pulchripes are the sweetest Old World's one could ask for. Even sweeter than my C lividus. She also does magic tricks. I'm open to name suggestions if somebody has a good one.

Also, posted some Calligraphy i worked on recently. Always be true to yourself my Tarantula friends.

Beautiful spider, & gorgeous penmanship there, brother. As far as naming her is concerned, I'd channel whatever forces that lead you to your username here, man...I love it, LoL.

You know it's a female? Because the first name that pops into my head looking at it is Cerebus (like the aardvark)...

Thank you man!

I'm glad someone got the movie reference lol

Yeah she was actually a confirmed freebie. What a freebie right?

I thought about naming her David Blaine or Mind Freak. She likes to hang out in that spot. It's hilarious. Equally funny is her temperament. You expect to see orange or blue legs go up, not golden ones 🤣

"For a few seconds, this place was Armageddon. There was a firefight!" Name that movie without looking at your phone.

@viper69 Here's some new worlds. I have a bunch in premolt. My Dominican Purple is molting as I type this. My sp Green is following shortly after. My Bach Ma wasn't having it today. I'm going to give her a better setup in the near future.

Also, the larger T's shouldn't be in sistemas long term (in case anyone comes across this). This is temporary housing because I'm moving them soon. My iheringi is on another level after molting. That red is wild. If people don't like phormics or pamphos, and they are looking for an alternative to tripepii or genics. I think the iheringi is a good choice. They grow much quicker than all other Grammastola too. Great T's 👍

I don't think I have any more room. Can they go in a cereal container? 🤣
Probably. With enough ventilation, I’d say so. They can’t have a lot of moisture, Avics need dry enclosures. I actually have a reusable chip container that I turned into an enclosure for my very stubborn P. Regalis, so anything with a lid and appropriate dimensions can work great😂

I think avicularia pucallpa is a strange species because there is not enough information about it on the internet

No room? Throw out your bed! Clearly you aren't dedicated to the cause.

You should get a minatrix AFs max out at 3" generally, if container size is a concern.

Cereal works- provided it's not a cardboard BOX! :troll: :watchingyou:

Dude, I'm 35 and I sleep on a twin. Thats a little dedication 🤣

I'd love a minatrix. I'm a fan of stripes for sure. I need to find a female and I'm sold.

I had over 10 pretzel jars stored in the garage but my mom decided to throw them out with 50-100 sling containers. 🫙🥲 it was so hard to remove the labels …
I think they are probably the best container you can put an arboreal or fossorial in. Even better than the mainstays lol

Depending on the size of the T, that could even be a permanent enclosure. You'll have to replace it over time, but big deal. I'm a fan 😆
