Some time late last night, early this morning, one of my P. imperator died. The other 4 seem to be doing fine, but I'll be watching them closely.

I'm sad :(

My deepest sympathies on this most somber of occassions. Be sure that you are keeping the enclosure humid enough (that peat moss needs to be kept moist, not water laden, mind you, but very moist just the same... it's nearly impossible to rehydrate it if it dries out). And I sincerely hope you saved the poor thing's corpse. Was it one of your males or females?

Kindest kindest,

Kevin P.

I'm keeping it pretty moist. I'm going to add more this weekend to give them more room to burrow.

I do still have the corpse. It was kind of difficult getting it out, as two of the others had taken up honor guard over the corpse (I kid you not) and were really defensive as I took it out.

I'm still sad :(

sorry to heard about that...you can still keep the corpse by keeping it in a jar with alcohol...
