Reptisoil for snails?

I had already gotten zoo led reptisoil and was wondering if it would be a fitting substrate for my pomatia snails, does anyone have experience with this? I’m mostly worried about the small amount of sand in it but I like it so much better than coco fiber, which is why I switched over.

They do live in the wild with varied substances in the soil, and land snails use a slime layer to glide over the substrate, so I dont see any reason why reptisoil would hurt. I currently have a few small land snails who dont seem to mind it at all. (The terrarium is a mix of coco, reptisoil, and generic topsoil.)

Is it the one that's a blend of peat moss, soil, sand, and carbon?

I think it sounds good actually. I believe the sand can help with burrowing.
I don't know how they feel about carbon, but if they don't like it they'll prolly spend all thier time on the walls.

Peat and soil are harmless. Carbon is biologically neutral. Sand is pretty harmless as well. I can imagine you might be worried about it being irritating, but I dont think it would be, especially when mixed with the rest and insulated by slime.

I would wash it a couple of times first, in case there's salt in it (a common issue with coco fiber, though I used it for salamanders with no issues). After that, you're probly good
