Is reptisafe safe to use to treat the water for my Ts?
Okay good to hear. Although I looked at the bottle and it said it adds calcium and electrolytes as well. Is this still okay? I’ve heard excess calcium can cause bad molts. Also, is it okay to use tap water that is softened with a water softener? Could the added salt harm the Ts?Yeah, it should be. So are aquarium water treatments. They both contain sodium thiosulfate, which neutralize chlorine in tap water. Either option is OK.
It should be fine. The concentration of those substances is very low, much too low to harm a tarantula. Treated tap water is OK. I'm not sure about the water softener, but I assume the concentration would be low enough to where it wouldn't be a problem. However, it wouldn't hurt to research it.Okay good to hear.
