Mice Direct

Feeder rodent suppliers Mice Direct will be directly at the show. To insure the availablity of the feeders you might need, if you would like to place a pre-order from them for pickup at the show, contact them via Guardian Reptiles here.

The LB Reptile Experience

The LB Reptile Experience is a reptile rescue program from Jacksonville that takes over 400 calls a year for both exotic and indigenous reptiles. Returning to Bradenton by popular demand, their presentation and seminar will be hands on, as the kids get to touch the animals and hold some of them, as they learn the special stories of these rescued herps from Bob Shumaker. If you like meeting the big reptiles, stop by this presentation and learn more.

Reptile Discovery

Bruce Shwedick will be displaying "Banana Girl" a 17 foot albino Burmese python and other reptiles that are a part of the educational programs he provides to schools and other organizations.
Bruce has recently completed his fourth tour of schools across the US. This year year he visited schools for the first time in Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas. These tours have now taken him to over 1000 schools in 45 states. Guests will have a chance to meet "Banana Girl" and have a photo taken with her. No fee will be charged for photos, but guests must bring their own cameras. Bruce will present programs on endangered crocodilians in the presentation area, and will have copies of his new full color "Crocodilians of the World" poster!

Rescued Animals of All Kinds!

Bradenton will feature Gaia Exotics and Wildlife Rescue Ministries. Representatives from these organizations will have several rescued animals at the show, direct from the courtesy of Care Animal Hospital in Brandon. Learn how you can help animals in need, and expect a presentation including a red-shouldered hawk and a barred owl!

Venomous Herps are Returning!

Repticon Bradenton will continue to feature the popular Venomous Display, courtesy of Snake Hooks and Books and Preserve Venomous. So stop by and see what slithers in!

Bill Love of Blue Chameleon Ventures
Goes "Down Under" with a Powerpoint Presentation on Herping & Australia!
Don't miss this unique presentation, as renowned herp photographer Bill Love gives a photo-filled PowerPoint presentation on "The Largest Herp Show in Australia, (plus) Fieldherping in Western Australia". It's an in-depth look at what the Sydney counterpart of the U.S. big herp shows are like, plus a visual tour of herping, herpers, and some public herp exhibits on the western side of the Australian continent. See what the land down under is all about, from the largest herp show in the entire country in Sydney to the desert Outback of Western Australia. A visual treat, this presentation is 100% about the places and animals viewed during a trip that spanned the country in May 2009.

Field Herping!

Daniel Parker from Sunshine Serpents will be giving a Presentation on Field Herping. So if you would like to find out the best ways to enjoy the hobby in the great outdoors, and actually find some reptiles & amphibians, stop by and learn more!

Carpet Pythons

Tim Manucy of ByTheShore Reptiles will give a presentation on carpet pythons. These unique animals are beautiful snakes that remain somewhat outside of the mainstream herp hobby, and are NOT among Florida's Species of Concern. Stop by this starter seminar of "Carpet Pythons Made Simple" to learn basic information on care, housing, and breeding. You'll also get to see them up close!

Arachnids!

Mike Dean from Exotic Kingdom will be giving a presentation focusing on various arachnids. As a breeder of these creatures, he is the man to learn from if you are into animals that even some herpers think are creepy and crawly. If you like tarantulas, scorpions, and other spiders, stop by to see them up close and personal!
