well that depends.. what "other" posts are you trying to reply to, and where are they located? some places you cannot post, like another person's for sale post. if a moderator locked a thread, you can't reply to that either..

show us what you're talking about

EDIT: also, this thread should've been started in the "Troubleshooting" section of Arachnoboards.

you cannot reply to For sale/trade posts directly, you have to PM that person.

I know some forums will let you do that, but AB isn't one of them. Dunno what more to tell you dude.
