Rehouse timing

This question is for those who rehouse in premolt, which I know is not common here.
I had planned on rehousing my N fasc last weekend after she’d taken a good meal. I didn’t finish the enclosure in time and had to push that move to this weekend. The day before yesterday, I saw she’d expanded the size of her tunnel significantly. She did take a snack that same day, left on her doorstep. Although I can’t be sure, I’m guessing she’s around 3” currently.
My question is, should I just wait at this point? Did I miss my window? Would rehousing her now just increase stress on her in a critical time?

Me personally would just leave it till it moults, what size is the T and enclosure it currently is in?
The way I'm imagining it with that tunnel size and what I can already see of the enclosure, I wouldn't assume it needs a rehouse at all.

Currently in a 4x4x7 Amac box with about 4.5” of substrate height. I’m guessing the dls (educated guess) as I haven’t seen her full body since she was last rehoused. Assuming she’ll be more than 3” after this molt.

depends on how close you think it is to molting like if its just began the premolt go for it but if its but is really black and your thinking any day its molting i would just wait until its finnished

Personally I like to rehouse them after they've moulted and their ready to eat again.
I feed them shortly after putting them in the new enclosure. I like to think it helps them settle in quicker(probably doesnt).

I never get a good enough view of her to see that. She’s never expanded the tunnels like this before though, which makes me think she might be close. I just lost one to molting in a too tight spot, so I’m a little overcautious.
Best view I get of her:

@Muffinforall I prefer to rehouse in premolt as that is the time they are lying the most webbing, so their new home will already be webbed up when they reemerge; more space, of course; and they are more lethargic, so easier rehouse.

If you think its not in the 24hour molting phase, you could do it.

that being said, it might prologn molt: it happened to me.

i rehouse in post molt: for my defensive species.

Do you find them to be less defensive and bolty when they’ve freshly moulted? Mine are usually pretty jumpy post moult when I open the enclosure to feed them the first time.

not in my case. They were scared and slow.

It kind of depends for me. If they laid down a web mat already, no. But, if they've been in premolt for a week or more as sub adults/adults I've done it before. I think its riskier with slings/juvies

Unless it doesn’t have space to molt I wouldn’t.
