I wish spiders were like cats or dogs where they could roam around the house and sometimes jump up onto the couch and you can pet them while you watch TV or read. Can you imagine? That would be awesome.

Chilobrachys spp. are really great. I got a bunch of dyscolus and Kaeng Krachen slings for cheap and have loved watching them grow. Great eaters, and durable. C. fimbriatus is a beautiful species and will web pretty heavily along with burrowing. and also as everyone else mentioned, Ephebopus spp. (especially murinus) are great as well as C. darlingi. C. darling are really attractive spiders and you really cant beat the price, especially as slings. They are practically bulletproof as well. In my experience, Haplos and Megaphobema will be less visable but also are really great though Haplos can be pretty defensive.

IMO these are what I would look for....

A.ezendami....calm, not very defensive at all and beautiful.
Or C. marshalli...darlingi is also good, but IME theyre more defensive....my marshalli have all been pretty calm and easy to deal with.

Defensive is fine - but "fast, timid and aggressive" is less than fine with her.
Just a quick comment: don't be lulled into a false sense of security by our use of the term "defensive" (as opposed to "aggressive"). Many of the behaviors/species we are describing as defensive might be what you mean by aggressive.

I don't want to derail this thread with a debate about usage that has been hashed out many times before on this forum. You can use the search function if you're curious.

Man. Googleing these suggestions really drive the point home on how addicting this hobby really can be! Narrowing to one may be so difficult I narrow to 2 or 3 then see what's even available. These really are impressive.

Wouldn't it be great to have unlimited money, space, and help?

Aphonopelma seemani is what you are looking for, I believe. They're total pet holes from what I've heard, and being an Aphonopelma sp. they are very docile. If you want a tiny fossorial spider, then get a Cyriocosmus elegans. Why? BECAUSE IT HAS A HEART ON ITS BUTT
An A seemanni is not docile. They tend to be pretty skittish. They will burrow a little but are not pet holes in any stretch of the imagination.
