Rainbow Grasshoppers

Does anyone know where I can find Rainbow Grasshoppers? Does anyone sell them?

Hi Gillian,

I had some available briefly during the summer. This is one of those animals that puts in an appearance during the monsoons when conditions are perfect then disappears when the desert dries up just a couple of months later and aren't seen the rest of the year. I'll probably have some again this summer. There has been a picture of one on the homepage of my site since the summer. Just too pretty to take down.

Tribe Dactylotini has some other beautiful hoppers in it besides just this one.

and a buncha others. They are pretty variable too. Not all rainbows have brilliant colors. Sometimes they can be very white with colors in random places.

I'd buy some if they weren't so hard to find
