This might be obvious, but did you use a small paintbrush to sift through every little bit of substrate in that blue deli cup? They can be pretty elusive even in small spaces like that.
I did. I checked everywhere. I have so many nooks and crannies in my room hard to reach.😭

Cut up Mealworms or Crickets are great for spiders this small. Killing them myself took some getting used to though.
Anithing prekilled works well really.


Tiny pinhead Crickets or B. lateralis nympths work well too but they grow out of the proper size rather quickly, so it is not really cost effective.
I remember when my sisters leopard gecko wasnt eating and they had me cut up a mealworm and make it into a paste with a pestle and mortar type setup. Im not a squeamish person, I do dissections just fine and have observed a couple surgeries, but something about this was just different.

The deli cup is too large. The vent holes are too big. I see an escape.
