Question about t's in general??

When its a little cooler or cold in your home/apartment etc do your t's web up alot more and lay massive silk??

I try to keep my house pretty much around 75 all year, but haven't noticed any difference in webbing and temp changes.

It makes more sense for tarantulas to be less active when it is relatively cool.

i haven't been running the heater nearly as much as i should (its probably hovering at 70 here), and i have seen pretty much the opposite or no change whatsoever.

My T's are less active when I keep them cooler.

BUT, are your T's in pre-molt? They might be laying silk mats to shed on. Just a thought.

Besides being a bit less active, I haven't noticed them doing anything else different than when they are kept in warmer temps.

Could be possible for my two gbb slings.. Plus i have a 3 inch female obt thats webbed her hide up but its not big enough to molt in just big enough to hide in.

Both those species are known for being heavy webbers anyway, so maybe that's it. Like everyone else who's replied, mine become less active in general when the temps are cooler but I haven't really taken any notice of their webbing behavior at those times.
