Because you only see his “clicky” on phones when you turn the phone on its side, here’s the link to the best advise on Avics on the boards:

I feel like you're just trying to beat me for argument but for the sake of it of course you would want me to say ventilation and the funny thing is is that most people do have fans or air conditioners also the obvious

The obvious answer is natural in man-made habitat but don't try to beat somebody just for the sake of argument my events at times we're getting their terrarium sprayed 5 to 6 times a day in a very similar terrarium as the one shown in this picture which had by your standards I'm sure very poor ventilation it's called air conditioning or fans buddy.
Argument? No, I wrote what I did because many new people read posts not just the OP, I don’t want people coming across inaccurate info, which your answer was. At least two people commented on your inaccurate reply to correct you.

Also one can have fans and/ or air conditioning in the home or apt and still end up with a dead Avic due to poor ventilation of a tank.

I don’t know why you think fans or air conditioners make a bit of difference- they don’t. That too is inaccurate information.

I think the sticky you are all refering to was in 2016.

Many ideas on correct husbandry have been given since then.

One comment I've just read says their husbandry was correct according the 2016 sticky, " my sling must've been bad before I bought it ".

Hello.

Avics. don't fall out of the trees in the rainforest as they seem to in captivity.

When are people going to get their heads around the facts that many slings will not drink from standing water ,and a damp/ moist substrate is of no consequence to tree living creatures.

Only 2 things are essential,
Good/ correct AIR Humidity, and excellent cross flow ventilation.

Next you'll be advising Condro Python keepers to keep a bowl of water in the enclosure and keep it dry.
No difference.

Stop reaching out for any and all excuses why the sling has died, when it's purely down to bad husbandry.

If they live in warm humid rainforest, that's what they require in captivity.

No ifs or buts.

I can’t edit my post. Only mods can edit.

So do you think most Avic keepers are keeping them like a rainforest?

One can always post an "update" to their original post in the same thread. OR one can ask a mod to make an edit on their behalf. ;)
update- I hadn’t considered that. The other idea would be better for one stop reading. Might do that, thanks

No, you can always keep them nice and dry, and after the bad molt you can spend the next 3 months placing water onto the fangs trying desperately to rehydrate, if the sling is not too far gone already.

So you think most Avic keepers are doing it wrong then?

Nothing more to say on the subject.
People must keep as they want.
They will anyway.
Care sheets say keep them wet like amphibians , so most people just assume this info is correct ✅. The lucky ones come here and realize this is wrong.
