Your better off using expanding foam it won't melt when the viv gets warm hot glue will . Foam will take longer to set but is much safer n stronger in the long run.
so I would do that on the larger vivarium which I have in the living room well which is planned for a colony of ts, I could post pictures maybe there's a video on YouTube someplace but anyways yeah expanding phone man great stuff. Except I use the puns though it's black. It doesn't break down once the sealed is broken on the surface like the great stuff does. The great stuff I found that I have to cut the open porous surface with silicone otherwise it will break down into a mocha of such hard to explain.

Yes I had heard you have to seal it after it's shaped but it's still better then hot glue thats fine for plants but not structural stuff so thought I had better say incase you did purchase one 😉😊

🙏Structurally the one on a scorpion enclosure like that little thing there or other things like that the hot glue would really just be there to keep the balance in the rocks so that if the rocks are being balanced in the soil and the soil gets you know obliterated lol, then the rock pile doesn't fall over so that and super glue all different variations and solutions to overcome the same problem. I do love expanding foam though but this enclosures only 6x8".

Would be using super glue then I really don't trust hot glue not once I saw a post on here where someone's t had gotten stuck in the hot glue after it melted on a warm day.
Tell everyone the dagers now lol.

Well I didn't even think that I mean how hot do you have to be like 250° or something you? That's insane. I probably just stick to mortar like I always have. Never fails. Just not very quick and hella freaking messy. I was considering silicone but I'm thinking that they would probably chew on it or dig at it and that would be bad. I am going to try the super glue though at some point when I find the right type of rocks. Where I'm at now all the rocks are limestone and they just suck. And everything is softwood out here so it's either riddled with ants and termites or it's rotting lol. Some things I miss about california. I digress.
