I agree with smokin' boas. Go with a Tapinauchenius purpureus. I have a few myself but they are still slings.

Here is a beautiful young female taken in natural light that belongs to GoTerps.
That's an incredible coloration!

Do they use to keep that coloration when adults? :?

Most of the time thats true however there are a few exceptions to the rule ;)

I have one of them big girls, and it looks more like
espresso wit bit of vanilla flavor here and der :D

You might also want to check out the Pamphobeteus Sp. Purple Bloom. These are an absolutely beautiful species. I don't have any personal pic's of mine yet as she hasn't started showing her real beauty yet but here is a link to one. :)

How sure are you that the Pamphobeteus sp. purple bloom you have will be a Pamphobeteus insignis. The pic in the link is also of a mature male and juvie's and females wont be as pretty.

i think yuki asked for something that costs less than an a. purpurea. so that kind of rules out pamps doesn't it?
