At my next expo I'm hoping to get a few Psalmopoeus slings from my usual lady who always has an amazing selection (seriously, almost every pokie). I'm interested in getting P. cambrigei, P. irminia, and P. pulchra. What can you guys tell me about the difference in behavior and personality between these 3 species?
This was literally asked a few weeks ago. Have you searched the forum? I know myself and Coldblood commented on this in detail.

irminia for beauty
camb for size and better disposition
pulcher in between the above 2 IME.

I've owned irminia and pulcher.

I got a 3 inch female pulcher there a number of days ago, already she's given me the threat posture and tried to repeatedly bite but I reckon this is to do with repeated enclosure swapping from postage. I have her in her new enclosure now and seems to be content likes to hide atm but I fed her a single dubia roach on two consecutive days and she's went for them every time. I even let her crawl up my bedroom walls when I first got her, lovely T but quite fast!

I know this is an old thread but I've not really noticed reduncus mentioned and would like to know everyone's opinion on reduncus, my only experience with them is with slings. What is your experience with them for Speed, Defensiveness, Reclusiveneas and Skittishness?

Thankyou.

I'd have to go with Irminia 1st. One of the prettiest NW's out there imo. My female started out reclusive and started to gain confidence as she put on more size. Now i see her regularly, and she's top 10 out of my entire collection. Ironically enough, she's also my easiest to rehouse. I think the saying, "each T's personality is different" couldn't ring more true than with Psalmos.
