Hey guys,
I was lucky enough to find a zebra jumping spider in my kitchen. She seemed to be malnourished, so I put her in a glass jar and fed her some micro crickets. I decided to place her in a more appropriate enclosure as soon as she was fed and watered. Unfortunately, the enclosure I had available seems to have very slippery walls. From what I understand, jumping spiders prefer to build their webs on the ceiling of their enclosure. The little spider keeps trying to get to the ceiling, but randomly slips and falls on the floor. I've been trying to give her a little structure to help her find her way around her new home. Unfortunately, she's not really interested in the branches I've provided.
Do you guys think I should put her in a different enclosure or will she manage
with her current home?
Cheers,
Patrick
