yes, use the search, i think i've detailed it in a few threads. you can do it anytime, just soak in hot water til soft (15 mins). positions with pins (not through exuvium!!!) and leave overnight. check my pic thread, you can do some threat poses too if you want.

preserving dead tarantulas:

personally, i don't like resin. looks good just free-standing by itself.

DON'T JUST POSITION A T AND LEAVE IT. it will stink, and the guts will rot, and it will look like crap.
use a tiny pair of scissors and make a cut on the underside of the abdomen. take guts out with a cue-tip, and stuff with kleenex, cotton, whatever the heck you want, stretch skin back over and stick with superglue. once abdomen looks life-like and not shriveled/dead/ugly, position legs and body in a way you like (again, no pins through body, just rest them up against the legs). leave in a safe place. spider hardens really good in a rate of about a week per inch of legspan (hence, 3-4 inch spider hardens in about 3 weeks, biiiig spiders take awhile longer, 7 weeks sometimes).

but, all this takes practice. it is worth it as the t's do not stink, and they look very lifelike if you do it right. it costs absolutely $0 to do, and it is perfect IMHO.

hope this helped.
