Hello everyone! I had a grass spider who had been living on my window since the spring. I decided to bring her in and have kept her as a pet for the last month or two. I noticed that she is VERY pregnant, and has been so since halfway through August I believe. I'm just unsure how to go about this situation, as this is my first time owning a spider and don't have the tools to take care of all her babies, but I'm also worried about releasing her outside since she's been indoors in a terrarium for 2 months, and I'm attached to her and would worry that she'd get eaten before she can lay her eggs.:(

Move it outside and cover it with leaves and let nature take its course.

Find a Clean (Uncontaminated) Field away from people traffic and mowers etc. , and Let Her Go...

I agree with what everything else is saying, but if you can find a way to separate the sac away from her, you could potentially hatch the sac separate in another secured container, and keep hatching sacs from her and releasing the babies. I've done this with my S. triangulosa, I am on my 4th or 5th sac now.
