Hello, my girlfriend recently got her very first tarantula, a really small(like 1/4" or something) b. horrida sling, she's been giving dead small roaches as feeder, which worked great for 2-3(the seller also suggested dead prey since that was what he was feeding)then it seems like it has gone on pre-molt hunger strike, being less active and burrowing even further in the substrate, which i know are a sign of pre-molt, however my gf is quite the elicopter parent(cant blame her i am as well) and i dont have that much more experience than her, so, what do you think?(the pictures are in order, 1st day with us,some days later with peak activity, and latest pic being some hours ago) 1000161886.jpg 1000162202.jpg 1000162205.jpg

Thats a good sign. Now you need to keep watch and let it be.

soon you should have a lovely suprise. And probably more questions.

its an important learning moment. For the future molts to come.
