I'll just post my two for now. We have 9 cats, though. all rescues.

Here's Oscar. He was found in a parking lot, and brought into one of the petco stores i was working in. We think he had been hit by a car, he had some kidney damage, but he's all better now.

And this is Radar. He's the best cat in the world. He was brought into the shelter nearly dead at 4 weeks. he probably wouldn't have lived another hour if my sister hadn't been there and grabbed him before he was turned over to the shelter. We nursed him back to health, but his eyes were so badly infected, that he is blind in his right eye. Other than that, he is the sweetest thing. He's super playful, super smart. He comes when called, he greets me at the door when I come home from work, and he gives kisses on command. the perfect cat.

Anubis, Lord of Venom (nubi for short)
he is about two years older now. i guess i should try and take more pics sometime

he is an alley cat. my brother saw his mom and sibs get squished at his work and saved this one. i am quite allergic to cats, so of course he ended up with me. i love him a lot though and would probably kill most humans to save him

he has a dark eye (which allows him to hunt spirit mice), lower urinary tract trouble (crystal grower), and is fairly insane... but like i said, i love him.

my favorite cat is my alley cat =P

he is older now. can't walk under counters like that anymore. and much more like, crazy and tricky than that picture would show

Neela and Cali

Here's some photos of my 2 girls, Neela (black and white) and Cali (torti).

They rule the house. Neela is 22 months old and Cali is 10 months. I've had them both since they were 5 weeks old, both rescues.

I tried editing my post to fix the links but I couldn't, so here it is again with the photos fixed.

Here are my two.

Iris was a feral (and mean) rescued Momma kitty from behind my office, who'd had her kittens in the hull of an abandoned boat which was about to be towed away. After I trapped them all and adopted the kittens out through Feral Friends and PetSmart, and had Iris spayed, she decided to stay. The missing tip of her ear indicates that she is a spayed feral. The organization Feral Friends insisted that her ear be tipped when she was spayed, because she was never meant to find a home with me. Now she's the sweetest, most loyal and affectionate pet I've ever had. Enjoying a sunbeam.

Cleo has been in my life for 7 years now, she was rescued as a kitten from the same parking lot behind my office. Sharing the same sunbeam. :)

This is Simon

Here's Simon giving his little brother Mickey a bath.

A recent pic of them snuggling on the couch. They sleep together all the time. Mickey is way bigger than Simon now. :D

great pictures everyone...kitty_b, you need to get a heat lamp just for that cat :p And the second pic is just BEGGING for a funny caption...unfortunately I don't feel funny at the moment

lorgakor, your alley cat sounds awesome...too bad you don't have video of it

I adopted my cat, Mia (or Moo, Mootimer *like mortimer*, land whale, meow meow), in Nov. 2005 when she was about 6 months old. She was one of about 45 other kittens and cats that were just left at the backdoor of the local petsmart one day :( Apparently she was adopted before I got her but the people had problems with her not using the litterbox...I have never had a problem with her since she came in to my care. I think they may also have abused her a bit as she was deathly afraid of a toy I got here. It was a plastic stick about two feet long with a long string and a fuzzy ball on the end for her to chase...if I hid the stick she played but as soon as she saw the plastic part she would haul butt and hide :( She has since gotten over that though.

Anyway...here she is :) Unfortunately, somebody stole my camera (Canon Powershot S3 with a 2Gb high speed SD card...$400) while I was in the process of moving in to my new home so I'm SOL for a long while until I can afford a new one. Wasn't stolen out of my home I'm pretty certain, probably snagged out of my car while I was loading it up in the apartment complex parking lot. :( I know better than to leave valuables visible too, I left the vehicle unattended for too long a few times. Luckily I had no pictures on there that I had not already downloaded.

Checking my fridge for leftovers:

My little minion...possessed by our dark lord and saviour, Satan {D

No Mia...these toads will not get you high by licking nor do they taste good (and licking even the right species will not get you high):

I told you {D (the toad had wandered in from the open door to my patio)

Oh...and she's part weasel:

I have a tubby tabby named Leo that I rescued as a feral kitten. He was stuck in the steer pen at an auction, all emaciated, covered with poop, and trying not to get trampled. He's now anything but emaciated, and has a completely horrible temperament - never really grew out of being feral, I guess. Here's some pic of the beastie:

yeah. jekyll and jinx both LOVE the heat lamps.

i had to share a couple new shots:

gremlin (gray) clinging to jinx. they ALWAYS sleep together on the top level of the cat condo.

dizzy (dog), mojo (black and white), jekyll (gray and white), and jinx hogging the bed on a saturday afternoon. "one of these things is not like the others..."

So yes, the Furminator is a sound investment. That was brushing #2 of the day!
