Possible sick tarantula

Hi, I have a curly haired tarantula and I believe she might be sick or something else is wrong. I got her in November and since then she's molted once and was eating afterwards. Recently she has stopped eating again and i've noticed her back is like losing splotches in little spots and she is bleeding from parts of her legs. When she molted the last time she went completely bald, not just spots. I've seen her go to her water dish a few times but her abdomen has shrunk quite a bit. I looked up some info about mold infections and I have some black mold in my apartment and I hope it's not due to that but since then I have moved the tarantula and I can't tell what's up with her.

As stated above. You’re going to have to post “clear” pics of the tarantula and its enclosure. I have a few hunches as to what the problem is.

Hair kicking sounds like it, on abdomen.

What happened, did it fall? What part of the legs? When did it start and why?

What do you mean? She molted and lost all hair?...because your photo shows plenty of setae all over.

That is dangerous to your health if it is indeed that black mold.

She molted already but before she did she was completely bald and was fine afterwards. These splotches came from nowhere and she has been kicking her hairs a bit. She is bleeding a bit from spots between her apandages. I have been handling her a lot due to moving her away from the mold. She likes to be out of her tank but i'm just really worried.

She does not like to be out of her tank, Tarantulas like to be in their enclosure which they recognize and where they feel safe. Handling is dangerous to the T, don’t do it. Has she fallen? Can you get a clearer pic from where she is bleeding?

ahhhhhhhh Tarantulas don't enjoy being handled, they are solely based of instincts so handling your T doesn't make it more tame than it already is.

now it looks like a fall with the bleeding, or maybe legs got stuck if there is mesh lid, or fall handling, some physical damage happened, and hair kicking due to being defensive and stressed from regular occurrence of handling.

Yeah. We all know that T’s Kick hairs for various reasons. But whenever I hear that they have super excessive bald spots, the first thing that comes to mind in handling. Non of my T’s are bald, ever. Probably because I don’t mess with them.

pretty T! Unlikely black mold in your apt itself is affecting your T. You'd need more spores in the air than sand on all the beaches to affect your T.

Your T is going to die if you keep handling it most likely. Your T doesn't like being held, NO ONE's T does. They are solitary animals and find no benefit in being held. We are worried you THINK your T enjoys anything beyond its hide!

Your setup needs a lot of simple but CRITICAL changes if you want that T to thrive, and not drop dead at some point.

Changes, others will elaborate

1. Screen top- dump it
2.STOP HANDLING
3. Distance from sub to lid needs to be no more than 1.5x DLS.
4. Smaller hide is needed, much smaller, too damn tall.

I STRONGLY suggest you research the animal you own, its life depends on YOU. So far I see nothing but bad signs in store for your T at this rate. I hear a Queen song distantly in the background as I type this message

Agreed, so much room in the cage too, could spice it up a little like adding leaves and twigs and such
