My wife was all for getting the two geckos and my rainbow boa, she even bought herself a ball python. However it took me roughly 6yrs to get her over her fear as well as to accept and approve of getting Ts. Now she wants to name the 3 we have :) All in all I can't complain.

Italian 0.1 are quite a handful from what i'm reading in your posts :D
Yuk, Italians 0.1 brain is mostly programmed on:

> Sex

> Shopping, especially in Milano 'Quadrilatero' (an ocean of Gucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana etc crap) or Roma Via Condotti or whatever Italian city

> Talking & joking about sex performance

> They aren't jealous as F-Word, more -- a good example is my comment above, Ornella, one of my ex, she was jealous even of nameless sexy Jade Chinese Ladies that were in Italy only for a short time before disappearing again in Canton or whatever, go figure if that's possible u_u

> Hate for spiders & every kind of bugs (aside a 0,0001% exception)

I don't know because, aside for a hot sexy redhead named Scarlet (mind, Scarlet or nothing) I view all the 0.1 as keepers of the "focolare domestico" and nothing else, since I'm an hardcore traditionalist and a vile machismo enthusiast u_u

I actually identify as an Assault Tank M4A3E2 "Jumbo" Sherman, ready to attack German armor and heavy fortifications, but that wasn't on the list.

At the rate I am going bald, none of you can insult me (assuming I remembered to shave my ears this week).

She doesn't mind Ts as long as she doesn't have to feed them. True spiders on the other hand....nope.

Hubby is moderately tolerant. Will pretend to watch videos on Youtube if I ask him to and half-listens to me when I rant about new things I've learned. He appreciates the colors and has two of this own, a GBB and A avic (though the avic just came home with us today). He doesn't care for all my beloved "brown" tarantulas but enjoys watching them eat, so that's good. Also wants an H pulchripes of his own someday. Rolls his eyes at me when I hold up slings in LPS and pout at him but he never says no! :angelic::D

Good to see that I can make people laugh :D
Well, that's a great thing... me & bro have that ability in IRL, and always enjoyed that.

It's easy, especially in this crazy era we are living where society is like a Lambo at full speed without brakes, to hurt or "destroy" something. Even when we don't want that.

It's definitely more harder to give a good, honest, free from everything genuine laugh, to someone.

* Enter Kansas F-Word 'Dust in the Wind' song oh booh :(

to be completely honest, my Other half is the reason i even started owning T's!.

i was more interested in reptiles and didn't want to "even deal with those creepy things" <--- my own words just over a year ago.
she wanted to get one, and with our then living situation, reptiles were out of the question, so i got one too.

11 months later we now have 13 different species of T and 22+ total inverts(with 6 reptiles as well)
and i even have a few more then she does!(just picked up a O. Philippines yesterday and he is great so far)

When me and my partner started dating, I only had one T. Currently I have 3. He is a bit creeped out by them, but tolerates my hobbies.
