While we're on the subject of pokeys, i was wondering what kind of set up the rest of you have had the best luck with.
I am going to be using a huge pickle jar for my next incoming Pokey(thanks jeff ;) ). Any other suggestions?

for the juvie stage, I usually use a plastic shoebox, set on end, with a plexiglass front that I burn holes into for ventilation.
I use a tall champagne glass for a water dish (get them cheap at Goodwill!).
For grown ones, I (am going to) use a 10 gallon aquarium on end.

we've used spaghetti jars ,pickle jars and up ended 10 gallons I realy think the spider doesn't realy care as long as they have a nice peice of cork tube to hide in (they usualy web like crazy if you give them a flat peice or just hang on the wall so remeber its not how nice the house is as much as its how well it's furnished oh yeah hot glue a condiment cup up high if you use a plastic cntainer makes a killer waer dish for arboreals
