I was just curious as to what species of the three genus mentioned, people are keeping the most.
Here's what I have:
P.smithi: Yellow back ornamental
P.penderseni: Penderson's ornamental
2 A.versicolor: Martinique pinktoe
2 A.aurantiaca: Orange banded pinktoe
2 B.ruhnaui: Mexican Golden Redrump
1.1 B.smithi: Mexican Redknee

Poecilotheria: I don't keep any of these, probably never will but it's awfully hard to say never when it comes to Ts. A few months ago I would have sworn I'd probably never have any Africans... well, now I've got two Usambara slings and Toga starburst juvenile :)

Avicularia: I've got A. avicularia and A. versicolor. Probably will get a purpurea and a minatrix as well one of these days.

Brachypelma: Now you get into one of my favorite genera. I've got 2x B. albopilosum, 1x B. annitha (although I'm suspecting it may have been misidentified, and I don't mean as in it's "just a smithi"), 2x B. boehmi, 1x B. emilia, 1x B. ruhnaui, and 2x B. smithi.

1xP. Regalis juv(Hopefully one more by the end of today or tomorrow, I'm expecting it to arrive in the mail..mature female)

1xB. Smithi juv

1xB. albopilosum mature female

and hopefully one A. Avicularia by the end of the day. I hate buying from Petco, but it's the only one in the area that sells them and Internet ordering is bad, mkay? Atleast when you don't have a credit card. That and I consider it a rescue!

It's in the smallest critter keeper, coconut bark substrate, and to show you the spider or to uncover "burrowed" ones, the fucksticks (Sorry, annoyed now.) shake the cage as fast as possible to move the spider out of the bark. Oh, and no water dish.

It's vagans. Vegans don't eat meat and I have yet to see a T that doesn't :D

You sure you don't mean, "albopilosum"? Because otherwise, care to tell me what the hell a Brachypelma albostriatum is, I might have to add one to my collection :)

Yeah, its a new totally awsome species, day glow orange with lime green paisleys all over it and it has a leg span of 24" and is sooo docile you can hug it, plus it likes to be kissed. I am the only one in the whole world who has it and you can pre-order slings from me now for a deposit of $500 (non refundable, of course). ;P

I must have Haplopelma on the brain or something...

I have a King Baboon thats almost mature. I have a 1/2" sling of the Brazillian White Knee. I raised a Goliath Birdeater but he was a male and died shortly after I could tell it was a male.
