Did some rehousing today...

1. Poecilotheria rufilata (trying to hide)
2. Poecilotheria subfusca (didn't want to sit still)

nice looking subfusca.. is it one of Jacobi's? About the same size as my 5. Pretty cool seeing some of the other one's out there.

No, that one was from Europe. My one from Jacobi just molted too, so when she hardens up I will give her a new home too and get a pic.

I think out of all the pokies the Subfusca and the Rufilata are the fastest. I lost a Subfusca for a few days right in front of my own eyes because it just teleported to the chair about 5 feet away and I missed it. Those little buggers can really move it!

yeah, both of those are very fast and flighty...though laid back when it comes to defensive behavior and quite passive in my experience...and that subfusca decided to bolt up my arm and play hide-and-seek in my armpit...

Yep yep I have had the same thing happen, and I was alone. There was a standoff lol. I won but barely.

lol, I've had that happen many of times. I think, it would be a pretty bad spot to get bitten. :D
