Hi Eddy,
I don't normally reply to spider images, but this is a great pic (the colours in the image are VERY well balanced) of a beautiful spider!! One of the best pics of this species I've ever seen. Close ups with really costly macro cameras aren't everything, this picture shows that very well. Tell me, did you take the image in natural lighting, or did you use a flash?? Also, do you have a high res copy of this image I could use for my desktop?? You've got my email addy I think.

Scott, if this pic doesn't make your next arachnoposter I'm going to copy it, print it and sticky tape it to the poster ;P

Thanks,
Steve

Gee Steve, you allmost make me blush ;)

pic(s) are in the mail! i did use a flash. pic was not made in a tank, so no glas reflections. the corck was setup in front of a black cloth (to absorb the flash.) flash was not pointed directly at the spider. this spider (as well as the blue Cyriopagopus ) is allmost impossible to get accurate on a picture. some cameras pick up the blue better then others. this picture was not altered in any way (no contrast, brightness or anything.) just resized (and lost some detail with that...)
