So my question would be:
Is Poecilotheria rufilata largest of them all?

Regalis largest by mass? Really? I've seen pictures of 10" rufilata, my female regalis isn't even 7". They appear very similar in bulk.It is by length, and regalis is regarded largest by mass. Specimens vary of course.
It’s like the largest snake- anaconda vs retics. It’s the same answer as above, mass vs length.
My breeder friend had an AF rufi, 10+, largest he’d seen. He’s bred Pokies for decades so I’m going off him, what I think from images, and others at shows.Regalis largest by mass? Really? I've seen pictures of 10" rufilata, my female regalis isn't even 7". They appear very similar in bulk.
I'm of the same opinion. I have a 6.5" female regalis and a 7" female rufilata at the moment. The regalis' abdomen and carapace are atleast twice the size of the rufilata. If I scaled up the rufilata's carapace and abdomen to match the regalis, her DLS would probably have to be in the 11" to 12.5" range. My breeder friend had an AF rufi, 10+, largest he’d seen. Like I said, specimens vary. I could be wrong on mass, but regalis always seems more massive on its body segments to me.
Yep, I've never seen a rufi that was more massive than regalis, but their leg span can be quite impressive.I'm of the same opinion.
