Sigh, the ones I can't have (I'm hoping someone else posts pictures, even old ones...)

Poecilotheria rajaei
Poecilotheria srilankensis

And I suppose I would settle for a Poecilotheria hanumavilasumica
why can you not?

for myself, i am yet to own one. I know i could provide husbandry. But i doubt i ever will. I have two OBTs, and just knowing the risk they pose, makes me wonder if i will ever get these kinds again.

i envy all of you who can master these.

I don't think they have ever been in the hobby, and the last survey I believe they couldn't find any wild specimens, but I could be wrong on which species.

I believe those 2 sp are on the CITES list but fcat would know better.

When it comes to asian/ arboreal husbandry, IMO it doesn't get any better than a pokie. They are extremely hardy.

If the venom toxicity wasn't as bad as it were, they would be my #1 vote for beginner OW.

But, you can't put a price on piece of mind.

My subfusca highland is the queen of my collection and my favorite without a doubt. I mainly keep metallica’s but I also keep rufilata, regalis, vittata, tigrinawesseli, ornata, hanumavilasumica, and a regalis/striata hybrid. I love pokies. My collection will always be mostly pokies and I hope to keep every species.
My second favorite species out of what I’ve kept would be a tie between metallica and rufilata.
Beautiful T. I'll be over the moon if my sling turns out to be female.

Late to this but no pokies yet, they are on my list for once my son is older, well 2/3 are.
Subfusca both hl & ll, I can't choose between them, and the rufilata because I can't resist a green t 🙂.

In the mean time I have to make do with looking at other ppls t's and dreaming of the day 😆.

I've got AF striata, AF & MM metallica, and SAF subfusca 'Lowland'. My female metallica moulted 2 weeks after the male matured, so I was able to mate them last week. I'll try again once he's spun another sperm web.
I'd love a miranda, but I currently don't have the space for one.
