Hi, e-petitions are completly useless and accomplish nothing.

Why not try writing your congressmen or donating to those evil animal rights activists that actually get their hands dirty and you know, PROTEST, the snake round ups. Or maybe protest them yourselves. Why not actually attempt to convince people by writing letters? And what about a boycott, why not let companies who do sponsor these events know you will not buy their products? Why not do an actual petition, or organize a voter intiative?

Yes, I really think 10,000 random, possibly faked, people from around the world will convince the governer of new mexico to enact this law. Probably 1/500th of the people who sign that actually might be able to hurt this guy by not voting for him.E-petitions are the latest manifestation of slacktivism, the search for the ultimate feel-good that derives from having come to society's rescue without having had to actually gets one's hands dirty or open one's wallet.
