This tiny scorpion was running around the house. I live in Johannesburg south Africa.
The scorpion is really tiny. Please help me to identify it.
Thanks
It's a Pseudolychas species and I think it is Pseudolychas ohraceus, but I would need to know the number of pectinal teeth to be able to confim this. P.ohraceus is a quite common scorpion in your neck of the woods. They are often found in bathrooms, cellars and kitchens, rooms with a higher humidity.
Thanks for the reply, I have been looking up on the internet and found pictures for Pseudolychas Pegleri and Pseudolychas ohraceus. They look very similar. How can one tell them apart?
