The Tarantula's Origin

Hi all, I talked to the guy who found it and i have a detailed origin.

This is exactly what he told me:

Found him on a hiking trail in an area in the foothills of the Organ Mountains, which are just east of Las Cruces, NM. Saw several that day. The area is about five miles east of where I live, and I would describe the entire terrain as foothill in nature. The area is called Dripping Springs where an old resort hotel used to be tucked away about 100 years ago.

Let me know what you think, now we know the origin perhaps we can narrow it down!

I am thinking anax, but i am VERY unskilled at all but obvious identifications.

Thanks,

Mark

Given New Mexico, I'm going to go with my earlier ponderings on blond males (as well as side with Wade) and put a vote in for chalcodes.
