Please help identify

Scorpion death

20200423_234614.jpg 20200423_235243.jpg we think its a vaejovis spinigerus the devil scorpion but could it be a vaejovis confusus the yellow ground scorpion we don't think its a hadrurus arizonensis the giant hairy please comment your thoughts

I vote Hoffmannius spinigerus.
I believe confusus has smaller/narrower chela and less developed spinules that are also lighter colored.
H arizonensis doesn't have this much granules on it's carapace.
But don't take my word for it, I'm not very familiar with scorpions from the Americas/New worlds.

Hoffmanius spingerus was changed to Paravaejovis spinigerus some time ago.

Anyway, where was it found and in what habitat? It does look like some sort of vaejovid.

Paravaejovis spinigerus also known as hoffmannius spinigerus (striped tail scorpion or devil scorpion) They are common in Arizona.
