Hi all, please can you help identifying my scorpion
Aquired it now around 4mths ago previous owner was no longer interested so was more a rescue!!
Been told its an emperor but not sure... it's not ate much since ive had it but seems to be getin slowly fatter!!
Which leads me to believe its femle and possibily gravid...
Ive taken the best pics i can hope these help and sumone can shed sone light.

Looks like it's claws are similar to pandinus sp. If if so it's probably p. Dictator. I may be wrong though as I'm no expert on emperors and forest scorp id'ing

Yup, Heterometrus species.

Your pictures are too unclear for me to make an ID or definitively sex it.

Please provide clear, well lit pictures of the chela, carapace, 5th metasomal segment, and pectines/operculum, and I will sex and ID it for you. Make sure that there's no substrate obscuring the pictures.
