Nice video, my P. Metallica sling is also on the calm side every molt it actually seems to get more mellow. I have it in a 4x7 container from the container store. Loves to sit at the top of the container when I needed to rehouse it I just lifted the lid of its 2x6 container, slid some plexi glass under it moved the lid into the new container sat the lid sideways. I've done maintenance on both its current and old container this same way as well. In comparison if I even move my 2.5" regalis's enclosure slightly its gone lol.

Looks like she's pretty full. I'd estimate that to be a factor to her calmness. You'd know better than me. Yes? No?

No that has nothing to do with her calmness. And she is not full, at least not from food I hope. :) She is recently molted.
And she has been cohabiting with a mature male here for the last month or so.

She has been that calm forever no matter what point in her cycle she is.

Nerves of steel perhaps? ;) Either way, that's a beautiful specimen you've got. Mine are a bit on the skittish side for me to attempt to handle, at least for now. Maybe one of these days...:D

She's beautiful. I wish ours was that calm, it's absolutely insane. Our P. miranda is much better.

I raise crickets to use as feeders. They don't smell at all. I have maybe 20,000 crickets right now and you can't smell a thing.
(pretty sure its my setup, that causes no smell)

I can't use roaches, roaches sent me to the hospital 3 times with severe breathing problems before they pinpointed what the cause was. It took several years for the symptoms to surface too.

That was impressive! That looks about as docile as you can get.

She's beautiful, I desperately want a P. Metallica, they're one of my favourite T's.

Awesome video. You have a gorgeous T!
May I ask what exactly happened in regards to the roaches sending you to the hospital three times? Allergies or?

I kept dubia 3-4 years before out of nowhere I started having severe breathing problems.
I never slept through a night. I'd wake up coughing as if I had pneumonia. This went on for weeks until one day I woke up and I could not breath. I was taking very shallow breaths and it was as if someone was sitting on my chest.

After a few incidents like that I was sent to a specialist who starting going though my every day activities to try and pinpoint my new problem. I was diagnosed with acute asthma (which I never had before), but for several months they could not figure out why. I was put on a wide range of inhalers that were thankfully covered by my insurance. I had to take several other meds that were brutal on my body.

One night I thought of the roaches and asked the doctor about that. He immediately sent me to get a blood test to confirm roach allergies. That test came back lit up like a Christmas tree.

I was advised to immediately get rid of the roaches or face even more serious health problems up to and including death.

I sold off 1/2 and froze 1/2 of my colony on the same day. Over the next week I slept better and better and now I don't have a single problem at all. After the colony vacated my house I have not had to take any of the medication prescribed to me.

Wow. I had no idea a person could get roach allergies! Though you typically can be allergic to almost anything, so it shouldn't be such a surprise to me... wow though. I learn something new everyday! :)
Definitely glad you found out what was truly causing the problems before it was too late!
