Pink toe on ground

Hello, I’ve had my pink toe for about 10 months and I’ve had to change a few things as I learned more about it (as we know pet stores give wrong info!) to start my tank is one that only has top ventilation with small holes at the bottom so I know that isn’t great. I also noticed my t isn’t very active at all so I tried changing his enclosure thinking it just wasn’t happy. After doing this (adding a good amount of stable platforms, since I couldn’t find good wood, vines and all the stuff I’ve read would help) my t decided to build its web on the floor. I’m just confused because there is definitely great areas to bulls up high. My temps and humidity seem fine according to a few sites I’ve read and it’s eating fine besides this week but he just molted so obviously it’s not eating. I’m also confused because I was under the impression that they won’t molt if they aren’t happy so I take this as a good sign but I know it isn’t suppose to be in the ground. Any advice and should I be worried? Also can anyone recommend a good site to get a proper enclosure?

Have you seen these yet?

A picture of your tank might help too.

Humidity- that’s a cause for concern meaning you even are paying attention to it- great way to kill an Avic

Tarantulas molting is not a sign of them being happy with their care. Tarantulas will molt even if the husbandry is suboptimal.

I’d like to see which care sheet the op found this information on lolz.. cmon man . Roaches & other inverts shed skin too for the same reason they need to do it to grow .
Need pics otherwise it’s a guessing game.

Maybe OP read about how they will attempt to delay molting in subpar conditions. They cannot postpone it forever though.

Did you incorporate cross ventilation? An Exo-Terra would do that fine. Whats the humidity reading in the enclosure? When was the information you read created? You're T obviously does not like the humidity levels if its going down to the bottom. Remember: Hot air rises...

Well if it has venting at the bottom, it isn't top only ventilated, is it? Sounds like an exo terra, which provides very good air movement.
I also noticed my t isn’t very active at all
Tarantulas aren't typically active creatures.
I tried changing his enclosure thinking it just wasn’t happy.
Ts do not have the capacity for feelings like happiness.
. I’m also confused because I was under the impression that they won’t molt if they aren’t happy
This is so absurd I need to urge you to disregard the places you have previously done research at and start over from scratch.

Only a pic will provide what we need to give help.

sorry it took me so long to reply. I honestly just felt so discouraged with some of the reply’s. I don’t try and come off like I know everything I’ve just tried watching as many videos as possible, read articles ect but the information is always different. But that’s why I came here because I want to better my t’s environment. Hopefully someone can help me and I can fix whatever I need to fix.

Yeah they just stated the obvious it’s not expressing it’s feelings lol. But you can’t stop them from webbing we’re they choose that’s out of our hands often . It chose a leaf to make its web so probably thinks it’s in a tree . :D

Ok so in your opinion is my enclosure ok? Do I need to add anything else to provide better care? I just want to do what’s best for my t.

Should be fine just keep humidity up , because the screen lid allows drying quicker . But it should have great ventilation.

Don't try to chase humidity. Moist stuffy cages kill them. They don't need that kind of moisture. They need cross ventilation. Two people with great threads on their care are

You need to get rid of the screen. You need to give it more cage stuff at the top, not the bottom. They are aboreal in case you didn't know.
