I love those roaches! I want to get some as soon as I move out.:D /and yes, the vaseline isn't as great with that species because theya re lighteight compared to others, that's what I have read.

A dealer had those for sale here for a while but unfortunatly I didn't buy any.

If they escaped, could they survive for long, freerange in a apartment?

I have the pic on my desktop at work just to "bug" my collegue :)

TO ANSWER YOUR question, no they cannot live ouside of their tank cannot infest and yes i have them but its to cold now to ship overseas in the spring time no problem :} :} =D

I have been thinking of these transatlantic orders... do you mail them through air mail? And if so, don't the animals freeze to death in the luggage-compartment of the planes?

I've had lots of animals shipped this way and never had any come dead. You also ship them with a heatpack usually besides in the summer.
