I won't even give them a chance. :p I'm afraid to hold an assassin but I have held scolopendra... :rolleyes: Maybe I will try it sometime. Have you guys ever seen them spray?

Never SEEN it though, but felt it.
On a day, when I opened the tank, some adults got scared, and I felt something land on my face...it just missed my eye :eek:

I can also tell you what it feels like. Several years ago I got sprayed in the eyes by a wheeled assasin bug which is native here in Missouri. It really burned my eyes. It was probably 10 minutes before my eyes cleared up enough to see. It also hurts to get bit by one. A bite will swell around the bite and leave a little red spot for a few days. :eek:
