I love my P purple. Sure it's a little spicy, but at only 2 inches or so, I find it endearing. It grows like a weed as well.

Same here that is well known - that’s why I’m lost by the persons 2 word reply that meant nothing to me
“finite” = “lower”. Its hyperbole. Some tarantulas seemingly have an “infinite” appetite, where they eat often, while others seem to have a “finite” appetite, where they go on hunger strikes. It was not meant to be taken literally.

Sorry for the confusion. While this info is well known, I am just discussing my observations.
