Hello everyone! I haven't been active in this forum in a looooong time (Highschool is killing my free time) but I do need advice, one of my local breeders added to his list Phormictopus auratus 1cm/0.3" slings. I've wanted to keep one for a while now & I would like some advice from fellow keepers with this species, this size.

Thanks in advance ;)

Hi
They eat well, grow fast and like to burrow.
Keep them as you will any new world terrestrial at that size.Do not overdo substrate depth as mine was burrowing a lot and sealing itself under ground when in premoult but was comming up as soon as it felt pray on top of substrate after it moulted.I had no way to find out of it has moulted or not and I have put a live appropriately sizes cricket in the enclosure now and then and when it was ready it opened the burrow as soon as 5 min after pray was available.
Regards Konstantin

care is literally no different than any other terrestrial sling.

Good to see you back on here man, care is easy as others have stated. Slightly damp soil, little water dish and a lil peace of cork bark or some leaf litter or something it can hide under. They put on good size with each molt
