Phidippus regius jumping spider turned brown

He’s been in his nest for a few days and I checked this morning and he turned brown? He looks mature and I don’t think his legs are curled but there might not be enough space for them to curl. image.jpg

The nest might make him a little brown it doesn’t look different than a normal male in the picture but the breeder bred them to have orange bands on their legs

Does not look mature from that picture. Still pretty small and legs are fine trust me. Looks totally normal.

Could he be ready to molt? I know t's get a bit duller in color before they molt sometimes.

By the looks of it he is going to molt soon, when they are about to molt their color gets duller and more grayish and they get kinda fat. They stay in their nest for about a week or two then slide out of their exoskeleton, they come out bigger and looking different.
