Love the red. Def going to try and find a few when I travel to Cali at the end of May. Great pic.

That's for sure not a phidippus johnsoni, looks more like phidippus carneus "montivagus" form.
From reading more about the identification I'm still convinced it johnsoni, even the breeder said it was johnsoni, but I would like to know why you say its not

I attached a photo of a Male and Female johnsoni. Notice that johnsoni female has no white patches on the cephalothorax and no white band on the abdomen, and the male has a solid red abdomen with only a few white scales on the front legs. Where were the adults collected
