thanks! She is something else, I usually don't like NW, but this is a definite exeption1
ya that is definitely a genic, even better buy if you ask me, chromatus is very skittish and can be very defensive, if you buy from the nhandu family N. colo and vulpinus i think is a better choice then chromatus

Now that I check them out, I am glad I ended up with a A. Geniculata rather than an N. Chromatus. All though she is pretty (very) skittish. But see is new I quess. It's amazing how much she can eat. I have never seen anything like it. I have an LP on the way; I quess there goes the idea of selling off surplus roaches:razz:

that is what I thought but I was not going to burst your bubble. Still a sweet T. I'd rather take an A. Genic over a Nhandu even though they are cool too.

No bursting here;) I'm glad I got a proper ID. Pet shops don't always know what they have. I have gotten some sweet deals (2" P. Regalis for $15 each). I'm looking forward to a molt so I can confirm female. It's not easy to pick her up and check her out without scratching for an hour.

Thus the New World gets its foot in the door...:D

HcU, are you an authority on Nhandu? I'm always trying to find out more about them (without getting zillions of results via the search function for everytime they're mentioned in passing...). Can you point me to some good threads or online refs/articles?

Sorry for the hijack, Euronymous!

No problem Diane. knowledge is power! I can't find much info either. I have spent over an hour. So far all I know is there cool (for NW ;) ). I cannot find much on my genetica either on AB, just slings for trade. Google has the same care sheet written by "twenty different people". Anyone have any good links for us?

Euronymous,

Well, I was searching my list of links tonight for something else and kept running into A. genic everyplace. :) So I saved some of the links for you, tho you've probably already seen them...and as you say, the same info reappears over & over...Nonetheless:
