people with B. boehmei

Hi,
i was wondering, for those of you that own a B. boehmei does yours dig or burrow into the soil? and does it make a lot of webs?

No, I have a male that is close to 4 inches now, and no, he does not web much, and he does not burrow. He does use his hide. He is also very skittish, and kicks hairs if you look at him. He is really handsome though. I'm hoping he will settle down some as he gets bigger.

I have a 1.4" sling and it has never moved so much as a grain of dirt. It also never webs. The little guy's tons of fun to watch hunt tho!

the slings sometimes burrow, but i have never seen the adults burrow. my female sometimes would move around some dirt, but webbed very little and never actually burrowed. she only used her hide to molt.

however, i gave her away despite all her gorgeousness. she would kick hairs at everything, even at a funny look, and i'm allergic to brachys. my experience with boehmeis is that they never calm down enough for someone sensitive to the urticating hairs...

I have a 0.5 inch sling and it burrows a lot and I don't don't think it knows what a web is yet.

i have a 5 inch female (raised from a 2 inch sling) which has never burrowed, doesnt use its hide all that much and doesnt web a lot.

I have a 3.5 inch female....she is not doing well, so my experiences with her may be marred by that. She doesnt web at all. Doesnt burrow at all...doesnt eat or drink ever...I know because there is always a ful dish of water in her tank when all the other tanks are going dry. And theres never any dirt in the water letting me know her feet have been in it. So, she may not be with me long at all...but she is beautiful and her hairs aint so bad if u dont play with ur Ts...lol, I just add water and let them live in peace.

I have a 2 1/2 year old female that I got as a sling. She's fat and gorgeous and is becoming very interested in me when I do maintenance. As a sling she burrowed constantly. Now she has a half-hearted burrow beneath her hide, that she actually just started a couple of days ago. Most of the time she's out and about - she moves around a lot. SHe's done quite a bit of webbing lately,too. This is an older pic of her- maybe a year ago, right after a molt.
